Connie is a Life & Health Specialist. She has been with GTPS Insurance since January 2001. She has 18 years experience working with individual and group benefits and formerly owned her own insurance agency. She has extensive knowledge in all areas of employee benefits including life, health (both Health Reimbursement Arrangements and Health Savings Accounts), dental, vision, disability, flexible spending accounts, worksite products, and self-funded plans.

Account Executive, Benefits and Commercial Lines
I have worked in the insurance business since 2001. I started out in a very small agency and then came to work for GTPS Insurance Agency in 2002. I was actually hired in as the receptionist, a position I worked in for approximately six months before I moved to the personal lines division. After spending a couple of years as a personal lines producer, I became the personal lines manager. However, I did not stay there: I was on to the commercial insurance side of things where I became a customer service representative. Finally, I am here... still here... in commercial insurance sales, including life & health. It is challenging at times, but equally rewarding!
About me:
I am married to a my wonderful husband, Bryan and my greatest accomplishment is and always will be my son, Collin. He is my pride and joy!
Movies:
I don’t watch them, so I don’t have a favorite.
Best known for: Being outspoken
My favorite quote is: “I’m not always perfect, but I am always me”. (I have no idea who said it, but I love it)!
Pet peeve: Just one? People that are fake are my biggest pet peeve.
Fun Fact: In the 7th grade Illinois state volleyball tournament, I set a record for the most consecutive service points in a game at 18. I think the record still holds. By the way, our team got 4th place!

Office Manager, Personal Lines Manager
A graduate from the University of Illinois, Sara started working as a Teller Supervisor at First Federal Savings Bank back in 1999 while she was going to college. She has worked at GTPS since 2006 and brings over 4 years of experience in personal insurance. She currently lives in Tuscola, IL with her husband and dog.
Past Life: After graduating from college, she moved to Seattle, WA where she did a
lot of traveling and worked as a nanny.
Fanatic: She loves to play all types of games no matter if I win or lose.
Favorite things: Her favorite T.V. show is Modern Family.
Best known for: Her loud and infectious laugh. Was told by a board member that they could hear her laughing during a board meeting next door and once they heard her everyone started to laugh.
Likes Most About Her Role: Building relationships with current and potential customers. Finding her customer's the best policy for the best price. Especially, when I'm able to save them money doing it.
Pet Peeve:
When someone dips ice cream from the middle and leaves the sides high so you get ice cream all over your hand. You need to dip evenly!

Biggest Pet Peeve (one of the few): Drivers on the interstate that cannot seem to drive at a constant speed. Cruise control, please.
Fanatic: I am a die-hard Indianapolis Colts fan and have been for a long time. I get so nervous during the games that I don't even like people to talk to me because I am so on edge. I am also addicted to hand sanitizer.
Few of my favorite things: Sweets, family, country music, sunny, warm weather, and shopping...not necessarily in that order.

Claims Administrator
I have been in the insurance industry since 1990. I have an Associates in Claims and was a Worker's Compensation adjuster for 13 years. Now on the Agency side I assist our customers with claims issues. Claims are always interesting. They always present some type of challenge either large or small.
Favorite things: Spending time with my grandchildren doing the usual Grandma stuff. I like Drag Racing and occasionally get to go to Joliet and Indianapolis. My favorite drag racer is Tony Schumacher. I like to take Ballroom dance classes and go out dancing whenever I get the chance. I
have a few hobbies but I like quilting the best.
My pet peeve is those loud speakers that rattle the windows. It interferes with the music I have on the radio.

Account Manager, Personal Lines
I came to GTPS Insurance Agency in 2007 after working 16 years with an insurance company handling worker's compensation claims. I have had the chance to work on both sides and have enjoyed learning the Agency side. I was quite surprise at the difference in working for an agency vs working for an insurance company.
I started out at GTPS handling all types of claims and I am learning Personal Lines. It is a lot of fun learning something new in insurance.
I am an outgoing person and enjoy helping people with their insurance needs. I've learn a lot from listening to our insureds and just having interaction with them.
I enjoy the summer get-togethers with family and friends. I am a grandma of 3 and enjoy being with them. Kids can make you smile when you are having your worst day.
My favorite T.V. shows are 24 and House. I like all the older shows like Andy Griffith, Bewitched, Sandford and Son etc.. But most of all I am a political junkie and love to debate. Sometimes you have to agree to disagree.
I love laughter and bringing smiles to peoples faces.

Health & Life CSR
Dianna came to GTPS in 2004 with 20+ years in business. She started at GTPS Insurance Agency as an assistant in Personal Lines and Bonds. By 2006, she began working with Connie Schwartz in Life and Health. She currently assists Connie with the health, dental, vision, disability, and life with groups ranging from 2- 500 employees. Dianna also assists clients with questions, claim issues, and resolving problems with billing and manages the Client Connect website for GTPS’ commercial clients.
Dianna handles the Individual Health and Individual Life. She helps clients with quotes, benefit coverage, applications, and any questions or problems they may incur while covered.
Likes most about her position: helping people resolve their problems. Some are big, some are small, I just want to help them all…
Fun fact: I grew up on a farm in Illinois, but ran away to Los Angeles at age 23. Stayed there 10 years, had a blast, and came back to Illinois with my three children to raise them in the country as I was raised. 360 degrees…
Blast from the past: still love Rock-n-Roll (music in general!) and road-trips.
Personal thoughts on life: Liuve well, laugh often, love much. And spend as much time as you can outside enjoying the beauty!
Hidden talent: I have a BIG imagination (most of which I keep to myself!)
